Privacy policy

Auralis has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or other contact details.

The app

To learn how the app is used and what to improve, it sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, our analytics provider, which stores them in the United States.

• What is sent: when the app is opened, which screens and sessions you open, whether a session was started, finished or ended early (rounded to the nearest 10%), any session rating you give, onboarding steps, paywall views and whether a purchase started, finished or failed. Each event carries the app version, iOS version, device model, language and time zone.
• A random identifier: each install gets one so that events from the same device can be grouped. It is not linked to your name, email address, Apple Account or advertising identifier. Deleting the app removes it.
• No IP addresses or location: PostHog is set to discard IP addresses, so no location is stored.
• What is never collected: audio, camera or microphone input, contacts, health data or anything you type. There is no advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
• Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
• Feedback: if you choose to email us from the app, the message includes the app version, iOS version and device model so that we can reproduce problems. We see your email address as with any email you send us.

This website

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not identify or follow you across other sites. There are no advertising or social media trackers on the site. Links to the App Store carry a campaign code that tells Apple (and us, in aggregate) that a download came from this website; it identifies the website, not you.

Your rights

Because the analytics are anonymous, we have no way to link them to you or look them up by name or email address. You can stop the app's analytics at any time by deleting the app, which also removes its random identifier. For any other privacy question or request, email us.
